While cocoons are a comforting shelter of sorts, they keep the caterpillar enclosed to its internal fortress, unable to see the richness that a fresh perspective of life can bring. & so the new-found butterfly does not yet realize itās transformation: it has only just evolved into a brand new way of being.
Unaware of its new wingspan & potentialities ready to be explored, it is learning how to navigate a metamorphosis of the self. With courage & strength, it emerges from itās shell, knowing the struggle that it took in order to evolve beyond as it once was.
But itās greatest gift is found in its new pair of wings, as itās curious sense of life & vibrancy is a wonder of growth & the changes carried with it, even if not yet seen for itself.
We too, like the butterfly, will emerge from darkness with grace, each with our own unique beauties- finally free to reach heights as far as our wings can take us.
